Map360 v4.0 already simplified incident reconstruction activities for investigators, reconstructionists and other public safety personnel. With the newest 4.1 release, the software provides even more powerful capabilities for 3D scene mapping.
For example, you can now easily insert a non-graphic representation of a male, female, or child that can into the scene with a new 3D body poser option. You can customize the size, position, and specific pose directly in the scene or choose from various predefined poses.
If you have a Cyclone PUBLISHER or Cyclone PUBLISHER Pro license, you can now choose to convert LAS, e57 and PTX files to an LGS file or JetStream project automatically upon import to provide a streamlined file path into Map360.
When you need evidence markers, you can simply grab them from the properties panel for easier modifications and batch editing. Additionally, the software now automatically updates viewports after a zoom or pan to display the regenerated view, and it shows distance and coordinate results in a separate dialog based on the coordinate system and units defined. The newest release also includes an updated point cloud engine with support for features such as publishing LAS, e57 and PTX files as LGS or JetStream; the ability to open multiple LGS files in separate drawings at the same time; the ability to read target vertices in LGS files from Cyclone REGISTER 360 to assist with QA protocol routines; and improvements to silhouette mode.
