Crush Analysis and Quick Selection Tools Make Map360 v3.0 Even Easier for Crash and Crime Mapping
July 2019 – Map360, the desktop crash and crime mapping software for importing, processing, analyzing, visualizing and creating court ready deliverables, has released its newest version, v3.0. Already the only solution that has an industry leading 3D CAD system built-in, Map360 v3.0 has been further improved to include new capabilities, including crush analysis, dynamic text labeling, and the ability to easily group and ungroup items for quick selection and modification.
Crush analysis enables you to quickly determine the crush energy and equivalent barrier speed from crush measurements. The new tool can be used with measurement data, an image, a symbol, or a point cloud. You can easily convert the units for crush stiffness coefficients using a scene analysis energy tab.
Dynamic text labels allow you to insert labels with a click of a button and easily add a leader line. You can apply a background masking color to make the label stand out and double click the label to make edits at any time. The labels will dynamically adjust so they are clearly visible in any view.
The group and ungroup capability allows you to easily group items together for quick selection and modification, such as move, rotate, and copy. To make individual edits, you can ungroup the items just as easily.
The new version also includes advanced linetypes, improved trajectory analysis and an updated vehicle specifications database. It’s powered by the latest IntelliCAD technology and has been updated to the newest point cloud engine.
